QuickBooks releases latest line-up of updates and features

The Autumn release from QuickBooks brings a range of innovative updates and developments, all with the aim of helping small business owners manage their businesses more easily, especially those struggling during the pandemic.

Here’s a round-up of the latest changes:

  • Income tax estimates
This tool uses information you’ve already uploaded to QuickBooks online to give you a real-time estimate of what you owe, meaning you can track your income tax and National Insurance contributions.
  • Employee portal
The QuickBooks Workforce portal allows employees to view their payslips securely. This free add-on will help save time usually spent on employee admin.
  • Tagging
This new feature lets you categorise your incoming and outgoing transactions, in real-time, so you can better understand your business cashflow.
  • Limited-time PayPal fees offer
For a limited time, small businesses can save on PayPal fees. By simply activating the PayPal app before 10 November, PayPal will reimburse fees up to £100.
  • Accountant month-end review
All customers can access this tool within QuickBooks Online Accountant. It allows accountants to create personal client reports easily and quickly, creating workflows, checklists and more.
